Walks Repairs April 2021

We would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers for helping to keep the castle and grounds in good order. Today we tidied sections of our walks ready for the next phase of reopening 🤗

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Here in Wales, historic gardens & open spaces of heritage sites were allowed to reopen on March 26th 2021. We are extremely grateful to our volunteers for enabling us to welcome Welsh visitors back in a COVID secure environment and from April 12th, our neighbours over in England.

🤝 From March 2020, Government guidance enabled people to volunteer safely during the pandemic with organisations across the UK. It is this selflessness that have kept many of our special places quietly ticking over during the dark days of lockdown. Charities like ourselves and the National Trust look after historic sites for the benefit of the nation and future generations. Without the help of those supportive individuals we would have seen many of these places closing their doors forever.

More details of our upcoming organised volunteer days will be published shortly 🏰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
