Fairy Glen Steps
An idyllic series of rough-hewn steps, with a quarry face to the left and early-nineteenth century rockeries to the right.
Follow the path to the left to visit the charming Gazebo and to the right to ascend the Nant-Y-Bella Steps.
Gazebo
The gazebo was positioned to line up with the Melon House and the end of the formal garden and middle terrace. It is built in the cottage orné style reusing rustic trunks from the Gwrych Castle estate. During 2020’s I’m A Celebrity, the contestants had a hot tub as a treat in this building! This area was also the main location for Castle Coin Challenges.
Nant-Y-Bella Steps & Tower
From here you can access the main castle via a staircase of fifty two steps. The viewing platform overlooks towards Hen Wrych and the kitchen gardens.
